Producer Pre-Licensing

The Pennsylvania Insurance Department requires individuals who are seeking an insurance producers license to complete a 24-hour Pre-Licensing Education (PE) course prior to sitting for their initial insurance licensing exam. PE certificates may be earned in either a self-study format or by attending one of our three-day PE courses. Under the self-study option, the student self-studies and receives a PE certificate after passing an on-site exam (at their home or office). The exam must be monitored by a disinterested 3rd party (anyone other than a relative or direct supervisor). Multiple retakes of the final PE exam are permitted. Under the classroom option, the  student attends a traditional instructor-led class over a three-day period (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) and receive their PE certificate based upon attendance.

Both the comprehensive self-study and classroom PE courses include the following study materials:

Our entire suite of study materials are specifically written to correspond with Pennsylvania licensing exams, are updated on a continual basis, and accessible from any computer, tablet or mobile device.
